Losing your glove during softball season is like forgetting your cleats before a game — frustrating and all too common. But this week, one Conway resident is hoping to reunite a well-worn glove with its rightful owner.

A post on social media read:

“Found a softball glove at City of Colleges Park near field 2. Looks like it’s been broken in well — message me to claim it.”

The glove was discovered over the weekend during a Saturday afternoon visit to the park, which is a popular site for youth league games, practices, and weekend tournaments.

🧤 A Glove with Some History

According to the poster, the glove looks like it’s seen a fair number of innings — “definitely not brand new, but still in good condition.” That detail resonated with other members in the group, who chimed in with encouragement and appreciation for the good deed.

“That could mean a lot to a kid or parent. Thank you for posting!”
“Sharing now in our team group chat — hope someone sees this.”

The glove was found near Field 2, close to the third-base dugout. The finder noted there were no markings or names visible, but the broken-in leather and dirt smudges suggest it’s someone’s go-to mitt.
