Late-night gas runs usually don’t make headlines — but one Conway resident’s recent visit to the Kum & Go off Oak Street certainly did.

A Facebook post caught fire earlier this week after the user shared a bizarre interaction that left them equal parts confused, concerned, and cracking up:

ā€œY’all… I stopped at Kum & Go last night and a guy tried to sell me ā€˜spiritual moon water’ from the trunk of his car. He was dead serious.ā€

Naturally, the Conway comment section did what it does best: it lit up with reactions, jokes, and other strange gas station stories.

šŸ—£ļø Locals Sound Off

  • ā€œMoon water?? Are we sure it wasn’t just Ozarka with vibes?ā€
  • ā€œI had a lady offer me a ā€˜miracle foot massage’ once in that same parking lot. Something’s in the air over there.ā€
  • ā€œHonestly… that’s not even the weirdest thing I’ve seen at a Kum & Go.ā€

More than a few users joked that this kind of thing is part of the charm of late-night Conway — while others reminded folks to always be cautious, especially in poorly lit areas or when approached by strangers.

šŸ“ About This Kum & Go

The gas station in question is located at:
šŸ“ 1270 E Oak St, Conway, AR 72032
šŸ•’ Open 24/7
šŸ“ž (501) 327-2747

While the staff at this particular location are known for being friendly and fast, the parking lot sees a lot of foot traffic — and occasionally, some truly oddball interactions.

āš ļø Safety Reminder

If you’re approached in a parking lot by someone acting suspicious or making you uncomfortable, Conway Police recommend:

  • Stay near the entrance or in well-lit areas
  • Keep your car doors locked
  • Don’t engage or accept items from strangers
  • If necessary, call the Conway Police Department at (501) 450-6120

šŸŒ• So… What Is Moon Water?

For the curious, ā€œmoon waterā€ is a real thing in some spiritual circles — typically water that’s been ā€œchargedā€ under moonlight for supposed cleansing or manifestation purposes. Whether or not that explains the guy in the Kum & Go lot is up for debate.

But one thing’s for sure: Conway residents have stories, and this one just joined the hall of fame.
